Introducing myself in a few words ended up being much harder than I had expected. I have written many versions of this paragraph, rewrote each a few times, and deleted them. Capturing the essence of me for an intro web page seemed impossible. I doubted and disliked every version I created, and, in the end, I decided to tell you the truth about how I feel about this: I am terrified to let go of these pages that I have been perfecting for months, wondering whether you'd like the content and myself, whether my words would be clear, precise, and understood. However, the more nervous I got, the more excited I became to connect with you. So here we go.
In a few words: I am a writer, a writing teacher, and a yoga teacher. I live in-between languages and continents. I converse with the Moon. I think too much, and such overthinking often creates worry, which I quiet with movement or wine. You can find me in Belgrade, Serbia, or Seattle, Washington, or somewhere in-between. And most of the time, you can find me online serving as a managing editor for Pif Magazine. I hold an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College, a BA degree in Italian language and literature from Belgrade University, Serbia, and I am an RYT-200 registered yoga teacher, presently working toward my 500-hour certification.
